Over five years experience in design and installation of wide area network (WAN), TCP/IP
internetworks, messaging, security infrastructure and Voice over IP solutions. Have designed and
implemented several Enterprise networks.
Installed the first Remote Access Concentrator for an Internet Service
Provider (ISP). The project comprised interfacing with PSTN with R2
(digital) [Q.421] signaling.
Successfully managed and completed the first island-wide Frame Relay network with ATM backbone. Significant contributions have been made in project documentation and user training.
Designed and installed the security infrastructure comprising Firewall system and VPN service for the Network Operating
Center (NOC) of a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in San Francisco, California.
Implemented and commissioned the Network Management System, Enterprise wide
Anti-virus system, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection System and Content Inspection
for a top level bank in Sri Lanka.
Uniquely holds Microsoft, Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks Certifications. Research interest is simulation of thin wire antenna structures using numerical methods
